Hi everyone, I'm new here but I've been lurking on the RPF for years. I've always loved making costumes, and this is the best place for it. And I was lucky to register before the deadline (I always seemed to miss it)
I finally got my act together and got into the 501st this year (and made EIB on FISD too!) since doing a TK has always been a childhood dream of mine.
Thought I'd post up some costumes I've created in the past, along with my recent TK. I can post some WIP pics too later if people wish.
TK ANH style
James Cameron Aliens style alien. Mostly made from foam, fabric, wood, plastic, paper and cloth laminated mache.
Honda Civic Transformer (no, it didn't transform, but it did have working headlights, tail lights, neon and voice amp / sound FX.)
Darth Maul. I did the makeup, bald cap and custom sculpted the horns. Contact lenses and teeth add to the effect! *By the way, the photo was signed by Ian McCaig, designer of Darth Maul himself!
Army of Two Rios
I sculpted the mask and did a silicone / slush cast, and custom paint. I also made the neck armor from scratch (lots of sewing and rivets), as well as custom arm guards, etc..
Enjoy!
