Hello Everyone.

It has been too long since I have come in to visit the RPF so I thought I would stop by and say hello and make a couple of announcements.

I wanted to let you know that the latest part of our new website is now up and running. It is MRTV. We wanted MRTV on our site so all of our fans and customers could post some fun videos. We are looking for 2-4 minute videos from you featuring MR products. They can be funny videos, commercials, dueling demonstrations, reviews or anything else you can think of. If you have anything you would like to submit, please pm me here with a link or send in a CD/DVD to the following address:

I also wanted to let you all know that we are having a party at C4 for our Collectors Society Members. It is going to be Sunday night. I hope all of our CS members here at the RPF will be able to join us. We will be sending out an email with all of the details soon so please keep an eye out for it.

Finally, I wanted to give you a heads up about our most exciting event we have ever dared to pull off. I cannot say much about it but the information was leaked on our forums so I feel I can now give you all the heads up. You will be hearing details about it very, VERY soon. All I can say is, if you like FXs, if you like dueling, and if you like competition..............this event is something you do not want to miss.

Now how about leaking some nice Indiana Jones info for us, eh? Can you give us anything?

When I spoke to Steve at C3 he personally told me that the Indy license was already acquired by MR and he listed several props that were already in the works, such as the Golden Idol, Holy Grail and Grail Diary. Then we saw a prototype of the Headpiece to the Staff of Ra months later and that was it. That was 2 years ago. Now, I know you're probably pushing things back till 2008 when Indy 4 is due, but can you at least throw us desparate Indy fans a bone, here? A-N-Y-thing at all.

I wish I had some news but I don't. We do not officially have this license as of yet but it is being worked on and looks good.

Thank for the swift reply. I certainly hope you get the lisence and go on to do all of the major props from the Indy films if possible. There is a large market out there wanting EXACT replicas which to this day have never been achieved, even by fans after all these years. A single Raven Bar headpiece would be so nice since none have ever been replicated. Maybe the gold staff topper to go along with it sitting on a nice gloss black display base.
Many have also been 'Jonesing' for a totally accurate Idol, Grail and Sankara Stones which have been replicated well by fans, but none have been 100% accurate. This is where MR will succeed.
Other noteable props from the trilogy that haven't yet been done are Belloq's Ceremonial Staff, chestplate and headgear and The false Grail. Consideration for Nurhachi's Urn, the Cross of Coronado and for the be-all-end-all of Indy stuff, the Ark of the Covenant. I imagine the Ark would be the last of those mentioned, but it would be cool to see, that's for sure.
Anyways, sorry about the long post but it's at least good to hear you MAY be getting the license. Thought I may as well let you know what some of the Indy fans have been discussing over time.

Master Replicas should do a limited edition Death Star from Return of the Jedi and have Ian McDiarmid sign it. That would absolutely rock. I'd get in line for that one. On a more serious note, how does Master Replicas come up with its products and production lines? Is it customer request or is there a broad marketing department that chooses what we want?

the FX saber i have, a vader esb i did the luxeon conversion on it and also a mace windu saber.

now i can hard time duel with them with the new polyc blades in them.

these blades no longer have any leds in them so dueling wont knock them out as they will on a stock MR FX.

and the blades are removeable so you can hang the hilts on your belts.

now if MR FX's are coming out stock with what im doing to make one duelable, then you got something going then.
