Mine arrived today,
Unfortunately a couple of bits were missing..
the small rod

and

the flex.

I will just improvise, managed to get a guy at work to turn a plastic rod and ill try and find something to use for the flex.

Otherwise I'm pleased as punch plus i cannot complain as there is a piece of leather strap and a connector for the base of the handle.

Sorry mate. I forgot I include a piece of filament, I thought the larger cylinder was in there... If you want, I'll send out either parts asap

Hi bud, yes that would be great if you could post the small cylinder and filament. I would prefer for all the parts to be just right and not cause problems later on down the line..e.g painting.

Oh, boy... I'm really excited
The amount of work seems really overwhelming now since I'm completely inexperienced but I'm definitely gonna give my best to bring the Samaritan to life.

So, I've had my kit for a while & it is truly incredible. I've been doing a bit at a time in between other projects. I'm to the point now where I'm ready to glue the 2 halves of the gun body together & ran into a snag.

When I assemble everything, the barrel fits fine in the 'closed' position, but when I tilt it down into 'loading position, it forces the 2 halves of the gun body apart as much as 1-2 mm. I've used sandpaper & even the Dremel to remove some material from the body halves inside the hinge area, but I'm scared to go too deep. I haven't done anything to the barrel part of the hinge, & before I did, I thought I'd ask here if anybody else ran into this, & what they did to resolve it.

I'm ready to glue everything together & do my finish painting, so any help would be great.
