Great work on the sculpting and casting, and thanks A LOT for this thread - it's a treasure trove with a lot of details on the whole process.

Really impressive job sir. You are probably looking better than Pearlman at your height since I don't think he is a tall guy at all. If you check, all the actors working near him are pretty short and the lifted boot soles are mostly a "Frankenstein" job to give him height. Sorry so late with info on a black stretch shirt....I built the costume a few years back(when the movie was released.) I can't say it is still available but try the women's department. I found a spot on black spandex shirt there with a lower scoop neckline and long sleeves.....just needed the embroidered red stripe...worked out fine. My only remark to the negative (which you probably know) is that you need a proper SA Samaritan. That gun you are using brings down all your hard work on the rest of the outfit.
I know you started with some kind of resin casting or recast, but it looks like whoever made it used a Colt Python as a base with mods to the barrel and applied BPRD medallion on the grip. The grip is a standard Python grip , not Samaritan. The cylinder is a Python and is way too small to accommodate the correct shells or match the barrel.
I scratch built mine from plans on the DVD special edition. It probably took less time than your head sculpt . I put rifling inside the barrel, hand carved the grips from wood, sculpted the medallions and cast them, made the cylinder rotate and line up properly with the barrel using magnets for the stop points. While mine is difficult to easily distinguish from the real deal....I admit that I did not have the actual prop to work with so it probably isn't screen accurate to the hero. Your build is too awesome to go with the gun you are using. I don't know if you have the means but I encourage you to try your hand at building your own.....after trying to salvage that one, how hard could it be?
