Few pics from Saturday unfortunately I didn't finish the cape in time so without them! I'll hopefully have the cape finished for my next outing in May

Ah you should have! I'd have given you a mumble or two! You aren't wrong on that one nobody could hear a word I was saying and I struggled to hear most of what they were saying haha
Fairly hard to see too I'm restricted to looking straight ahead... Pic came out awesome I hadn't planned ahead with my friends Hellboy didn't even occur to us until everyone was asking specifically just us 2 that we had a whole "Hell" connection and people were digging it

It went down very well but it was difficult for me to enjoy it as much as I hoped as its very sweaty and oppressive feeling inside it, its like being in a box can't breathe or see too well! but managed to wear it all day with only 1 break for water and food...
I didn't plan on it until May because I wanted the cape finished but a colleague decided last minute he wanted to come and suit up but didn't have a suit so since my Lantern is waiting his partner to finish up and I hadn't sculpted the mask yet I decided screw it he can wear my Sub-Zero with my buddies Scorpion and I'll wear the spawn minus the cape lol
Greek publisher of Spawn was there he was very blown away with it quite an honour to have such high praise.

ah I see.... well that's as good a reason as any mate! it looked ace regardless of the lack of cape, and congrats on impressin the Spawn publisher!!! that's what I was hopin to do with the co creator of Captain Britain but alas it wasn't to be....
I heard it was pretty quiet too? ... it seemed it from all the pics I've seen coz their doesn't look to be a massive cosplay presence?
I can sympathise with you on the hardship of wearing a suit like that as you know I wore the TMNT suit and that was a similar ordeal..... but that's the price we pay for awesome costuming lol

It was REALLY quiet in terms of cosplay partially why I didn't care about missing the 2nd day today but general numbers its no MCM probably about the same size as a LFCC or something fairly busy just didn't seem to be much of a costuming presence....
I'll be far more excited about MCM in May they've always been by far the biggest I've attended to date but I usually make more friends at places like LFCC/EMS dunno why less manic I guess more time to chat to people

Durkness, Hi, I use the facebook page mainly to disclosure of my work, sculpts and pieces..
but I do own the molds and make pieces, you can follow my work there and got more info on the page..

hey man I love it are you going to the LFCC
for the eyes go on ebay type in green mirror tint and order a 99p sample and order a sheet of perspex and attach the tint to perspepx and presto you have reflective green eyes then all you need is a simple white led behind them for the green glow

Thanks for the tip mate! I'll look into it I've been completely side lined from working on costumes at the moment due to an over active real life
, I most definitely will be at LFCC but I'm not 100% sure if I will be wearing Spawn or something else yet I have to confer with my group to see what is going where... I'll update here when its decided we're focusing on May MCM at the moment!

This looks great. I'm torn on the idea about the arm padding. It would look familiar with bulkier arms, but like you said it's just one of the many hellspawn, so maybe it is a more slimmed down agile one. Really awesome job regardless.
