Helios head from God of War 3

I have been thinking of making a replica of this.

Only problem, and it's a biggie, is that I have no idea how to do this :lol

I thought about a bright LED setup for when it's picked up, but I can't figure out some of the logistics. Things like how to make sure the hair is strong enough to withstand being picked up, etc.

The sculpt shouldn't be too horrible to do, and I can find the things like cervical vertebrae online already made.

So... basically just trying to fish for some ideas.

Anyone got any?

As far as I know Helios' eyes and mouth are wiede open, when in use... So, I think you could use some really bad-ass bright LEDs that no-one sees the inner parts of the head...

Planning on some opaque hemispheres for the eyes. Haven't figure out the specifics though.

I can probably scavenge the innards out of a small LED flashlight for the mouth....
