Haunted Mansion Basement Build (First Project)

Do you happen to know the (weird Swedish) name of that chair? I too have always loved that chair and would like to give it a shot.

It's called the Strandmon.

Those bookends are the inverted library busts, correct? How large are they (as book sizes vary)...?

Unfortunately they are grossly undersized. I'd say seven inches tall, tops. Still, they're a cool little semi-replica prop and at the very least, they would work as reference for a full-sized sculpt.

And sometimes an undersized item is a saving grace.

With all the possible ideas for this project, its not possible to incorporate everything, and certainly not everything in full-scale. These undersized busts may be an ideal way for the OP to include the busts without overcrowding the overall display.

An idea that may extend beyond the scope of this project... But on the mirrors, (wall plaque and organ), if you were to use two-way mirrors, wojuldn't it be possible to place a ghost image on the back side, visible along with your reflection on the front?

Simply amazing!

I love what you have so far! How about we all stop by and see it in person? ;}

Here's some inspiration for you, this guy packed all that mansion goodness into a single bedroom: mansion build

Hey everybody. I've got some new pics coming soon. I've finally finished all of the stenciling for the corridor of doors wallpaper in the bathroom and got the vanity installed. It looks pretty great. I'll get those up this weekend.

Some photos of the bathroom. My wife and I had those lenticular ghost photos done at WDW back in December that I have to find frames for. I'm also working on a wall clock version of the grandfather clock. The three of those will go on the wall in there.
