Some fan expos may not allow airsoft weapons in, but may allow a nerf blaster. Good for the cosplayers out there. I'm tempted, but I already have a Snow Wolf.

I have 3 PR's, a spatcave, an icons, and an airsoft. But I have a lot of fun modding and painting nerf guns. Had to have one of these.

This looks awesome! I'm happy with my Airsoft (and I spent a crap ton of time this spring making a stand for it), but this looks like a great option for cosplayers, the younger ones, or people on a budget. I'd have a blast repainting this thing. Def going to show this to some friends.

I'm really not sure about this. First local shop listed it for 120€, so ~$140.
I really would love a replica of the rifle, but I don't know if a nerf gun would make me happy... after all, it takes more work, than a complete finished "unbox and have fun" softair...
Softairs are sold out at the moment and the HCG replica is too expensive in my opinion. Really don't know if I should give it a try...

I look at it this way; Airsoft M41A = $280.00 (Snow Wolf brand) - $360 (Evike Matrix brand), plus applicable shipping.
Nerf version, $100 and change with tax, shipping included. That and $15 worth of rattle can paint and some disassembly/masking and you'll have a decent, lightweight, something you can shoot in the house at a lot less than 360 FPS, reasonable replica of the real thing. This is very, VERY appealing to those of us who've wanted for a long time but simply can't (or won't) justify dropping multiple Benjamins on one (like me).
Granted, the biggest turn off I can see on the Nerf one is the "triggers" in front of the Thompson grip and (the comically oversized one) in front of the magazine, but I can live with that since it's going to be relegated to a shelf or as a wall hanger only. And likely the only ones that will see it are the wife and I.
(I might nerve up the cats on occasion, but I digress...)
