Just wondering who you guys think does the best Harry Potter Wands? I'm looking at getting most of them soon.. But not sure which ones to get? Noble? Or any wand makers as close to the movies as possible? Any suggestions would be appreciated..

Pastor Jedi makes Harry Potter wands that are infinitely superior to the Noble Collection versions (and not too expensive either), since his are actually made of wood instead of resin. Plus, they're really pretty to look at.

Edit: So I say Pastor Jedi makes the best wands out there :)

Yeah I'd prefer to get them made from wood then resin.. Think I asked him recently and was told he did them from time to time.. Looking at trying to get them in one hit.. :lol Also trying to get all wands, not sure if he does like Greyback etc..

I just got 2 from PastorJedi and they are great and if he doesn't have it ask him if he thinks he can make it. I did and it turned out great!

PastorJedi's wand look great, especially for being hand done from wood, but I digress. The Nobel Collection wands are top notch, owning several of them personally I can tell you that you are getting what you pay for, and while they may not be wood the resin is good and the steel support column within the wand helps a great deal to keep it sturdy. They're also the most accurate on the market.

This is not a slight on PastorJedi's work, it looks great, but when it comes to Harry Potter Wand Replicas I'm going to have to go with Nobel.

And being that both makers seem to price their wands identically it depends on what you what, accuracy (with a nice box) depicting the prop or a lovely authentic wood piece representing the prop.

The Harry Potter wands are on my list of props that I am keen on getting. Im thinking about going the Nobel route, but a hand made wooden wand would be cooler ;)

Last summer my wife and I read the Harry Potter series (yes, a bit behind the times :p ), and afterwards I decided it'd be fun to have a few wands from the books/films. As such, I started by picking up a couple Noble wands - specifically Ron, Harry, and Hermione's. They looked nice, but didn't feel like a wand, leaving me a bit underwhelmed.

Over the past few months I've picked up several wooden wands, primarily from Pastor Jedi (Dumbledore, Sirius, Harry, Ron, Draco), and Alivan's for the one Pastor Jedi didn't have (Hermione; picked up a non-movie wand from them as well). While they may not be 100% accurate visually (a good 90-95% of the way, though), they "feel" perfect, being solid wood. For me, real wood is the way to go, and I've yet to find any that have been as nice as Pastor Jedi's.

Don't think his that interested.. PMed him about making whatever he makes and prices but haven't been responded too.. Oh well.. Noble might have to do..

Not a Harry Potter fan per se but , a big fan of Pastorjedi.
I am surprised as his customer service was exceptional in my dealings with him.

Come on man, give the guy a break. He may be busy with real life. I can attest to being very pleased with the quality of work on the first version Potter wand I bought from him.

Are the Noble ones cast from screen used? If not... why would they be better?

Created to exact movie measurements. Sculpted from direct access to the movie units. A wonderfully sturdy resin one piece with a seamless placement of a metal rod to provide extra strength and flexibility. A wonderful collectors box with custom fabrics and colors specific to each wand.

My only complaint is the ever so tiny trade mark on the product.

That is a part of their illuminating wand series, different (and two dollars more expensive) than their normal wands. I also believe it might be larger than it should be (from an screen accuracy point of view) they're still lots of fun. Kind of like Master Replicas FX Light Sabers, but for Harry Potter fans.

My husband bought an official wand for me a few years back, but it's made of wood. I believe he purchased it from eBay, and it might have been one of the Japanese ones. It's Hermione's wand, from Chamber of Secrets, if I'm not mistaken. It's a great wand. It came in a cloth-lined, burgundy wand box stamped with the official logo. There are no markings on the wand though; just a small removable sticker.

It can be seen in some detail in this (rather silly and very large) picture.

It doesn't look like they have this particular kind anymore on the Japanese Warner Brothers store (but oh do they have stuff I drool over!) however you might be able to find one from an individual seller sometime.
