Harry Potter: Hogwarts Textbooks

No, that book is terrifying, I'm not touching it again. I'm even gonna delete the PSD file so I'm not tempted! That one took two hours and its still not right!

And we don't have very many hi-res books. Half of what I make is guesswork

Also Bruce, are you going to make your hi-res available on here, or just by email only?

Its a 16MB file, any suggestions? If someone who allready got it as an email has a way to host it please post away!

@Hinkypunk: it's all your fault your killing my printer, it's almost out of ink. But don't stop I just have to go to the store know and get some more ink

@Bruce - I can host it for you, my email is in your PM box

@Norbert - I already posted it :) I just don't like it. Or were you talking about something else? And don't worry, I'm gonna switch to potion labels for the moment.

Terry, who happens to be extremely awesome, pointed me in the direction of some little potion bottles with corks, SO, I'm gonna play with those for a little bit

@Hinkypunk: I was talking about Gaddling with Ghouls, are you going to do the other lockhart books and the Quibblers? potion labels now I could use some of those

OK here is my best guess on The Standard Book of Spells. Just updated the artwork as I found a little better reference (only slightly) This is the low res preview, Hinkypunk was kind enough to host the high res ones for me, so you don't have to email me any more. I had to guess on the spine and back. Enjoy!

Wow. A lot of stuff in here. Nice works.
I'm extremely obssessive with accuracy.
But you've been designing some cool props.:thumbsup

Hinkypunk, I can't keep up with you! LOL. I love visiting the forum and seeing all your new work everyday. My husband had covered a lot of books in solid color wrapping paper and handwrote the HP book titles on the spines, but now I can print off a cover for many. Since it's just a kids' party, I am just gluing the rectangles on the front, but still it's very cool looking. Thanks so much for all the work you are doing! I especially liked the One Minute Meals and Charm Your Own Cheese cookbooks... I have them displayed in the kitchen, of course!

Glad you are enjoying them elfstacy :)

I should have potion bottles coming up here soon if you are interested in stuff like that. Terryhimself find these neat ones at Michaels that were only a buck each!!! They even had a heart shaped one, perfect for Amortentia

I can't find pics of the bottles on the Michael's website, but I checked two of them and both had the same six designs.

I might get the labels done today. I've been under the weather, which was fine the day before yesterday, but since then I've ran out of dayquil and my closest relative/person I don't mind seeing me in my PJs is a 4 hour drive away, so back to bed for more Ugly Betty marathons.
