Sorry for leaving you out Scott, I saw on FB that you put alot of time into it.
It's not MY creation, rather a team of people doing it. I just do my small bit to make it awesome
I don't have any numbers but I know some people here and The RPF have posted they have placed orders. I think it is common knowledge that these forums (both) are a small niche of the community. If we (as in people in the forums) are buying then so are others.
Went to see it this week. Apparently they've sold three falcon cockpits so far -- which do in fact come with the windshield/nose cone. If you're in the area I highly recommend a visit to Harrods 4th floor. Be sure to reserve a ticket in advance (until 31 August when they will remove it.)

This has to be one of the dumbest things ever.
I am sorry to be so negative but this is beyond stupid. Go look at the pics it does not even look right. It looks like a model and not even as good as the TFA cockpit.
I could hire someone here to make all three more accurate for 50k and probably less

I believe the company that created the TFA cockpit also created the Harrods cockpit. If that's the case they are dead spot on to the TFA version. They have all the files and plans necessary to create a near exact replica.

I was chatting to someone from Propshop at their stand at SWCE in London and they claimed the falcon set was dismantled after Ep7 and had to be rebuilt by a different company, from scratch, for Ep 8. I found this really hard to believe and pushed him on it but he said it was true. It wouldn't make sense in my mind. Unless propshop lost the gig and someone else now doing it.

That very interesting! The images that leaked of the exterior do show a less "sandy" looking Falcon so changes have been made. But that wouldn't have a real impact on the interior? I can't imagine LFL or Disney spending the money to rebuild the cockpit again unless there is something significant to the story?
