I just got off a conference call with the PropShop and here is the pricing for the full size Millennium Falcon Cockpit and Couch and Dejarik Table. Pricing does not include shipping. Each item is limited to an edition number of 10 each. Customization of the Cockpit is available and does come with the complete outer Windows and the door on the back of the cockpit can be made to open. So without further ado, let the discussion begin on these prices:

Millennium Falcon Cockpit: $817,353 USA. 600,000 UK POUNDS
Millennium Falcon Couch: $68,112 USA. 50,000 UK POUNDS
Millennium Falcon Dejarik Table: $20,433 USA. 15,000 UK POUNDS

Well, I guess at today's exchange that works out to, what, more like a buck-fitty USD? :lol Seriously though - $20k for a wobbly table? I assume that at least the thing has ACTUAL working holochess pieces.

PropShop did say the Cockpit weighed over a ton, so I bet shipping to the USA would bring the total to $900,000. Not sure who they are marketing too, as not too many wives would allow you to spend $900,000 on a dust collecting "man cave" item. Once the novelty ran out on having the Cockput in your house, I think the reality would then set in that you just spent almost a million dollars on this prop and you would have a WTF moment and break down. LOL.

Wow. That's some serious cash that they want for that cockpit. I think I'd rather have the 2 or 3 Lamborghinis that I can get for that price.

And the Lamborghinis have a definite market and resale value too. Definitely selling to the elite .00001%. LOL.

....and for a nominal fee of around £50,000 + travel/driver/white van/lunch, I could try and find some of the real parts to put in it.

Hold up, I think I need a Learjet.... Make that £75 Large.

I was guessing no more than $200,000 for cockpit. They asked me what I thought about pricing, I told them what I had thought it was going to be. I think they would be luckily to sell one. I would think Disney would want one for their Star Wars world at their upcoming parks.

I thought this was an April Fool's Day joke when I read it. So around $905k for everything(and that's before shipping, customs and taxes)...yeah, that seems reasonable. Might as well get two, one for my everyday house and another for my vacation home on Mars. :lol

This is one of those things they don't really expect anyone to buy. It's just publicity. If they sell one to some super rich guy they'll be happy.

Really? They want publicity that proves their stuff is overpriced, because that's all I get from this.
