Hannibal TV Series..

Well ****. Now I'm bummed I have to wait til tomorrow morning before I'll get a chance to watch the latest episode.

Am I the only one who thought "Hannibal" was a huge letdown of a book?

Probably not, but I haven't read any of the books so I can't give my own opinion. I didn't like the movie, though, and what I know of the book is absolutely bonkers. Here's hoping they change some of that.

Things are really heating up! I loved the last episode. Wouldn't be surprised if next season was Red Dragon.

Caught this tonight. I have enjoyed Every Episode, and it never seems to loose any of it's steam. I have a few friends who watch the show, and when i get a chance to talk to them about it, there is a certain amount of excitement about it. I hope they can keep it going...

Don't worry, you're not! If you have a chance, take a look at Martin Amis' review from the time of Hannibal's release, it's in "The War Against Cliche". He really tears that book apart.

I know that there is talk of this show wobbling in the ratings, I'm hoping at least that they do a straight-to-dvd wrap-up movie if the plug is pulled. The story has developed subtly away from the source material, interesting to see where it goes.

I never thought anybody could replace Hopkins as Hannibal but Mads is amazing. I love what he brings to the character. Honestly, this is one of the most gripping and visually stunning shows on TV right now. I love the references and homages to Silence of the Lambs and Red Dragon. Can't wait to see the future seasons where they bring in the Red Dragon storyline.

I know right! Just when you think you know where this show is going, it goes in the complete opposite direction! This is the best thing I've seen on tv in a long time.

As soon as Dr Bloom started playing tonsil hockey I was in a continuous state of disbelief. I haven't been this excited to see an upcoming episode of anything in a while.

Well. That episode was a bit underwhelming after last week.

I was ready for **** to get CRAZY and it felt like it was just spinning it's wheels.

So, how is a man who uses a cain supposed to have takin bodies, manipulated them, and erected them in the ways the " ripper " has......... still a GREAT show!

A bit behind the bandwagon here in Australia I randomly stumbled onto an episode and damn am I hooked, I love how Hannibal just seems so blazè about everything, yet at the same time so calculating like a master chess player against learners. Definitely suited to the role.

See what I mean about the show moving away from the source material? Looked to me like Chilton is dead. I kinda like that.

This is a little reminiscent of the Walking Dead. If they went straight by the comic book, how interesting would the show be? You would know everything that was going to happen in advance. I loved Silence of the Lambs but will have no problem if they mix things up a bit.

Maybe the Chilton in Silence of the Lambs is a relative? I hope not, I really like the job that actor is doing. Of course, with Will around, no actor is out of work even when their character is killed.

I hope that he was just wounded in the cheek. I think that if they ever get to film a Silence of the Lambs season this framing would contribute a lot to Chilton's hatred for Hannibal and make for a much more interesting dynamic between them.
