Hannibal TV Series..

I love this series! But I think seven seasons is stretching it, a four or five season run would be good. We already have the first season that establishes the players, then next season could be Red Dragon, the third Silence of the Lambs (really gutsy, but I think Mikkelsen could match or surpass Hopkins), the fourth Hannibal, and maybe a fifth original conclusion to the character. I like the idea of knowing that Hannibal is out there somewhere at the end, just like at the end of Silence. But three seasons of original material is too much, I might get bored by then.

Either way I think we can count on the show going on past Red Dragon, it is called Hannibal after all not Grahm, not Crawford, not CSI Maryland, but Hannibal, now we're just waiting for the bomb to go off.

love this show.. and to those saying it wont last more than two seasons, are you nuts?!

They've even laid it out that next season should be will being strong and fighting to implicate lecter and get his standing back... and maybe the 3rd would lead to hannibals hunting down.. 4th would be red dragon, and fifth could be silence and onwards..

The creators are even trying to get the rights. They've planned it all out. They are already bringing in the character of the mason veger (forget how to spell his name) from the hannibal movie (guy who cuts parts of his face off, and later is the creepy bed ridden guy who feeds people to pigs in the hannibal movie) so they can do that origin story.

This show is a goldmine of possibilities for the pre-convicted lecter to be explored. I'm excited beyond words!

I have to say, it's one of the most interesting and well played dramas out right now...Absolutely brilliant TV....We all know where it ends up...But the twists thrown in are a nicely balanced mix of "head nod to the fans" and "new stuff that works", and the combination really has allowed the show to grow amazingly well as it's gone on...I love it...And each episode still has the ability to throw in some "fear" too..Which really can work if balanced out with a great story...

Will's decline has been excellently shown, and Lector's next play will be great to watch...

I started it not expecting much at all...But I've been pulled into it..It's brilliant TV.

I love the show, started watching it when Supernatural finished for the season. Just made my first prop for it. A visitors' pass to the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane.

Are we ever getting a season 2 of this show? I keep having to endure horribly crappy shows and all I want is more of the good doctor.

My collection of Hannibal props. All created from scratch using Photoshop, Illustrator and a good old fashioned pencil.

Too bad the show is not more popular here.

This literally can't air fast enough. Watched another episode of The Following tonight and... you know... I am not even going to talk about it. It is not worthy of discussion. Needless to say, Hannibal has been the most well written show I have quite possible EVER watched and I hope they can maintain the momentum.

BTW, that is a VERY cool collection! Have you considered sharing some of your work in the Paper Props forum?

And another increibly creepy and infinitely disturbing episode, with a lot of imagery tied directly to Silence of the Lambs. I am impressed with the writers' ability to keep it interesting.

This show started absolutely great and just keeps getting better.

On a side note, I think Hannibal has passed Mad Men and Boardwalk Empire on the best dressed list.

It inspired me to start wearing a Windsor knot instead of a four-in-hand. Although I don't tie my knots as wide as Hannibal does.

Nice job! I'd love a Will Graham wanted poster!

The FBI poster is not actually from the show, It's a "one-of" I made for my daughter. Same as the note pad that says "from the desk of Hannibal Lecter". I made that and his business card for her birthday.

:)
