Hi Guys,
New to RPF, and I'm hoping not too late...
I'm planning on putting together an accurate metal version of the ESB version of the DL-44 and I'm starting to wonder if it's even technically possible. I don't want to use any resin parts but it seems that this is all that's available anymore... obviously all of the original parts are probably used up by now but I'd at the VERY least like to have aluminum/steel parts for the majority of the build.
Is there ANYONE on here that has recently built a full metal ESB DL-44 and knows where to get the parts? Price isn't really an option at this point, I would just like to know if I am going to be able to find any of the parts or if I'm going to have to unfortunately resort to a resin model.
If you know where to get the parts or have any idea of who may, please, please, please let me know. I think I am set as far as the Mauser C96 is concerned, they don't look to hard to obtain, it's just the greebles and scope/mounting bracket that I'm concerned about.
Thanks a bunch guys, I really appreciate your help!
