For those who will buy the Bronica part, I have a few rejects that I would not ship with full price kits but some of you might want to save a few bucks on either the base or full set. If you're interested, I will cut 10$ off if you want one thrown in the set. Just tell me which one (letter) you're interested in and I will reserve it for you and we'll adjust the price accordingly when it's time to pay the balance. So you will get that one instead of a flawless cast. Most of these can be fixed with styrene, it's just more time as usual.

Most of the flaws you're seeing are either a bubble in the thin walls, or a bracket leg that is broken off or malformed at the top. The rest of the shapes, walls, writings and cast bolts are flawless.

We're almost there guys .. to those who paid, tomorrow, I'll have machined parts!!! Then, I'll start shipping paid orders or ask for balance!!!

On another note, here's what happened tonight

Hey guys,
I finally got feedback from my printer guy .. his print head needed to be changed on his polyjet printer (OUCH for him!) so that will be done today then he's back at printing my greeblies.

So in the next days, I'll get those greeblies which will need both mastering and molding. But I already have a new mold to do for my Volvo panel, and some greeblies around and those new ones.

If you're remotely interested in them, please let me know asap in case you were already on the machined parts list before I ship your box. I can hold on to your package a little bit until I know if I will make those available too. If I do make them available, they will be merged with the base and full package into one complete greeblies package.

I haven't shipped anything in a week. For once, I didn't have much time and second, I was waiting on these. I will lightly sand them today and start the molding process for my own set.

If all goes well, I will kill the base package, merve it in a single package of parts and update the first post.

Mold is done! The thinner D ring didn't survive the process .. the first cast are now back into the pressure pot. These are cast in smooth cast 310 to allow a bit of flexibility when removed from the mold .. I'll have some pictures of the first casts later tonight!

If this ends up not working, I'll have my print guy print them all on one run, then, depending on price, I might offer them as direct prints. We'll see later!

First casting out of the new mold!

The plan now is to add those in the full package. Since 99% of people buy the full, I won't offer the base package anymore after this.

If you're on the list and want your greeblies now, you can PM me .. I have everything available in the first post in stock. FInally received my new sheet of acrylic yesterday! If you prefer to wait for the next batch of available greeblies, you can just wait for now until I know more about it. I still need to receive a new batch of printed parts which I'll mold and then, depending on how they come out of the mold, I'll be able to update the packages and price.

*** UPDATE ***

Tomorrow, I will receive the next greeblies I got printed .. 3x D-Rings (will be much much faster to cast them 3 at a times), the no-bottom cup and the halfsphere from panel R4. They will again be dropped in rubber with a new small dedicated mold which means after that, I will be able to do half a set of greeglies per day!

Next step will be to figure out the price .. it's not the quantity of resin, it's more the time invested in modeling them, getting them printed to the quality of polyjet and the rubber involved although they're quite small / thin mold (not thin enough for some .. loll .. just kidding!) :thumbsup

Once I have a full set in hand, I'll trim it, take pics and post it here along with an update on the package.

If all goes well, as I said before, I will probably have only one All inclusive greeblies package. I want the people to open their box and have everything needed to populate all 8 panels in one shot.

I just wish I had that when I started on this journey two years ago!! My spent time on this is your gain now!

Last prints are in .. yeah, I think I said so last time .. but decided that I wanted the no-bottom cup and I had forgotten the half sphere and nothing around the house would be the right size. I had him print 3 more D-rings while he was already running the batch to fill the print platform. Now, I can make a proper mold with enough d-rings to have at least half a set for each pull. New mold will be done tonight or this week end!

Small update to say that I have had zero time to do the molds last week end. Also, I will be on vacation starting this sunday for the whole week, so away from the RPF for me! I might take my messages but will probably be MIA until may 23rd.
