Halo Capture the Flag, Flags (Prototypes)

Hi all, figured I might as well get some feed back on a couple of flags I whipped up real quick as a last minute stunt for some fun time at a convention.

I literally spent a day on them combined, so they are just prototypes. I have materials to create more accurate ones, but figured it might be valuable to get some feedback.

I based them off of the Halo 3 beta version of the flags:

Here's a general shot of the flags. They lack the skull and crescents, though the future version will have the proper structure and "toppers".

Here's a better shot of the blue flag. Also my custom helmet and matching outfit.

And just for giggles, my better half (other blue team member) getting teeeabaaagged by my friend in the "lightish red".

The frames are built from 1/2 " PVC, the flag portions were hand sewn and the images, hand stenciled and double sided.
This was really my first delve into the hand built and not "moded" prop world, any feedback would be appreciated!

Don't be silly, girls don't like video games.

I keed, I keed! They look good! If I had the money I'd definitely invest in some sort of Halo related costume.

Man, the girls I know who play Halo are Viscious Pwnage Generators. :lol

I believe it was SirKen who made the Halo armour from the polygon mesh of the models. Found a program that would essentially print out the mesh model so you could fold it as a 3d paper model, then he painted it and Robert's your father's brother... Halo armor. Looked pretty kickass too.
