Last month, after finishing up my son's Halo 3 Master Chief costume, I quickly switched gear and start working on his Spartan Warrior costume. The entire costume, except the helmet, will be done in foam.

Here is a link to his finished Halo 3 Master Chief costume.

Here is the first video of the build.

And here is the second video with the chest piece completed.

I am working on the helmet now. More update soon.

Re: Halo 4 Spartan Warrior (Pics and Vids heavy)

I finished the helmet and realized that it is a little too big for my son. So I have to make another helmet. In any case, I had some fun with the build by making a time-lapse video. Click on the images below to watch the videos. Enjoy!

During the build process I couldn't find accurate COD piece for Halo 4 Spartan. So I had to scratchbuild it using a simple process.

And finally, I need to make room in my garage for the new costumes. Need to part ways with the old.

Let me know what you think.

Re: Halo 4 Spartan Warrior (Pics and Vids heavy)

Finally, I was able to complete the video that I shot with my kids. Amazon is my favorite shopping site and making Halo costumes is my favorite hobby. This video is about both. Enjoy!

And here is a new video of my son wearing his new Halo 4 Warrior for test purpose.

I've finished the entire foam build of Master Chief Halo 4. Here is the chest piece painted with Plasti-Dip.

Helmet looks a bit big, but kids have big head.

And here is the video showing every pieces of the armor.

The Warrior helmet is all painted and ready for visor. I hardened the helmet and finished the details in less than 10 hours.

Here is the finished helmet painted in two tone colors.

Finally, the helmet is weathered and applied a coat of semi-clear to seal the acrylic colors.

I used thin cardboard to add the panel details. I explained the process in my video here. Hopefully this is helpful for anyone who is attempting the Halo 4 Warrior helmet.

Finally, I found an amazing product. This will allow anyone who is interested in making their own mirror visor. You can make any color visors you like as long as the plastic is tinted.

What did you use as the mirror finish, I have been looking for something like that for an airsoft mask I am building for myself.

My kids Halo 4 Spartans are done! Here is a quick link to the video that I posted yesterday. Let me know what you think.
