Halo 3 Master Chief of foam (Heavy Pic)

We are going to make the Assault Rifle and the MG6 pistol for the armor, but I couldn´t resist to make this. It´s made out of cardboard:











YES, I put on the forearm for the occasion!!

After wield the sword I cut those parts to make it more comfortable to use:



Now I don´t know if fiberglass the sword or paint it directly. The truth is that I think is a llitle bit dangerous!! :eek

I decided to make my own faceplate templates because the pdo file I have is really good but it doesn´t fit with my hand, so I used some pics from internet for reference and made those templates on my own hand:

Now is time for the thighs.

I made a pretemplate on paper to see if the measure were right. It didn´t help to much with the chest, but that was because I made only a half. This time I made the whole thigh and the important part was the high:





It looks good so now to the foam-mobile!! :lol




The inner part it´s made with a softer foam:






The fit test:


The high is good but it´s too tight, so I added a few cm in the back side:



Now fits better:

Time for the shins:







The shins fit really good!!

I have a pair of old boots and I used them to make the armor´s boots:



Those were the files from the pepakura, but I added some parts to cover the boot entirely:

So far I´m happy with the results!!!

Still a lot of work to do!!

I think the next I´ll do is the weapons or the inner parts to hold the armor or maybe some more details on the helmet or forearms!! hahahaha

Hi, yes I have all the files. Send me a PM, because I´m not sure if I can share those files here, I took them from the 405th and then modified them into foam. I´ve tried to contact with the creators of the files but I wasn´t lucky!
