HalloweenCostumes.com “Back to the Future Hoverboard”

Sand those ridges lay lenticular as drill new holes those pads will look amazing hc really **** on Mattel with this one lol I'm gonna leave the stick pads on since I'm working on other props right now as well but to know they'll fit and look great is good for upgrading down the line

So you're offering 2 magnet pads + battery pack or just the battery pack correct?

Now that we've seen what the HC board actually looks like, will it be possible for you to offer the battery pack with side extensions that reach the existing magnet pads that the HC board comes with! I'd be all over that. The magnet pads that the board brings seem perfectly fine to me.

Just an idea.
Yeah that would be pretty cool.
Incidentally, do we still have to wait for 10 people to sign up for that battery pack because I have a feeling that I'll be waiting until hoverboards actually exist :lol

No, I am going to do the run either way and I will do the Battery with hold-down extensions after the people who first were interested are fulfilled.

Formula if you start a list for the battery pack with extensions add my name please.

I been asking for this since post 33...lol.

Also, some people wanted pics of the stickers on my board. You can clearly see the misalignment and the wrinkled spot.

I'd be very bery ahppy with the battery pack with the extension pieces as opposed to just the battery pack since there are only 2 of us who signed up. Looks like you have almost 10 already for the battery pack with extensions :$

So is there a way to remove the footpad to make it easier to replace the pink strap with the fury one?

Well I'm gonna have a sh*tload of lenticular paper left over! hahaha I WAY overbought! But better to be safe than sorry! I'll let you know how much I have. It's gonna be a pain in the arse to measure and cut everything out just right, but whatever I have left I'd be happy to share with people on here!

Lenticular paper?

Is it the clear honeycomb sheets or something else?

To make it more accurate? The ones in the movies were mostly bevelled.

I don't know if a router works on plastic or not, or if it can shave already rounded edges.

I would stay the hell away from a router this isn't made of foam you can't just shave it down you'll destroy the board. some boards had rounded tops, the boards will look nice once modded. This board does not have enough material to create a bevelled edge you'll either crack the board or shave right through it.

The edges are round. :'( How do you make it a straight bevel?

You can't really mod these boards to that level. This board should be the same two piece construction as the Matty boards which are injection molded plastic. It would be easier (and cheaper) to just make a board from foam if you wanted beveled edges than it would be to mod one of these. The router would certainly cut the plastic, but you would essentialy cut the top of the board off in the process.

If you look at good screen caps of the Hero boards, they look like they were beveled with a knife.
