My contribution to this thread, and the modifying process...
Little has been said (or, more correctly, done) about the handle bar hole. Some talk of a black sticker, some have applied such a sticker, but not a whole lot else.
File accurate or not, here is what I will be doing (unless I am cautioned by you more experienced owners of this prop replica). I will be drilling out a .75" to 1" actual hole, and then will insert one of these, found at Home Depot:
Any exposed interior pink plastic, I will paint black.
Again, not screen-accurate perhaps, but in my mind more "life-accurate" (how it would be if this was an actual device).

I think it would look a lot better if the green was brighter and not the same color as the decal that came with the board.

Ugh... Just pulled the board out to show a friend and realized the standard stickers are bubbling and peeling. Even the stock pink Velcro has a bubble in it. Looks like what I thought was a satisfactory board for a non-uber hoverboard fan will have to be fully re-done after all.
Now... Where was that link to the lenticular material anyway...?

That's the million dollar question. Don't think he sold any yet. The thread has been open for nearly 12 months. I'm waiting for an update.
Alright I hear you. Thank you for the response. I really hope that he makes these available soon. I am wanting to order Vormz's kit and find a battery pack and extensions or just the whole underside I can swap out without too much prep time.

That looks great! I too am going to get that battery pack and extensions from Vormz when they are ready. I seriously can't wait to start this project and get the board looking better

So I got this version of the hoverboard and you probably saw in my previous posts how I peeled the deck stickers off and put lenticular paper on there as well as adding Mattel stickers. I also purchased the resin magnets and battery pack and painted those myself because I was NOT a fan of the magnets on there nor did I like the fact that the battery pack was part of the bottom deck sticker.
I was having a lot of trouble applying the lenticular paper because if you put any adhesive underneath, it ruins the 3d effect. So after a lot of frustration with my lenticular paper curling up and falling off I finally decided to drill tiny holes at various points along the edge and then I put in tiny nails that have kept it down.
I'm FINALLY happy with how it turned out.
I was really having trouble figuring out how to display it....I was trying to look for clear shelving to give it a LITTLE bit of illusion that it's hovering, but then one night in a dream (I swear it's true) I envisioned myself using fishing line.
The next day I cut off some fishing line from my fishing rod and hung two loops from the ceiling. It looks FANTASTIC! From afar, it really does look like it's hovering!
Here are some pics....
