Halloween 2011- What are you planning/ working on?

I decided to do two this year a Ghost Buster and Freddy Krueger. There pretty much done just waiting on my proton pack and my CFX Toasty Mask and Gloves to arrive.

Rapunzel!!! :D SO EXCITED! I've been wanting to do this costume for over a year! Can't believe it's finally coming true! *YAY* My boyfriend will be my Flynn!

Oh, we're also going as a pair of YipYips.

I will be making a new frock coat and vest for my Captain Jack Sparrow costume. Not 100% movie accurate but good enough for me. :)

I'm going for a custom character pulling from styles of my favorite comics/manga. So far my vision is of a post WWII era street villain (of course my character will exist in a parallel realm). I've got a wool trench coat, combat boots, face paint for skull makeup, and I'm thinking either a sword or rifle to sling over by back.

Also want to add colored contacts to add to the face paint. Anyone know any reliable sites or at least the ones to avoid?

Doing a Duff man from the Simpson's with "Oh yeah" piped out of speakers in the the beer can belt connected to an iPod. 2nd round is the old reliable stormtrooper.

I have a question. My friends and I are going as the Anchorman people? I found a wig and mustache on a halloween website, it will serve it's purpose, however I was reading the comments and it said the mustache doesn't stay on that long. Anyone have a suggestion how to get the fake mustache to stay on for a night other than.. trying to grow a real one or stapling it to my face. :) thanks for any input

When I posted earlier, I said I'd put up a pic of my Maverick costume from three years ago (the last time I did anything for Halloween). Well, since that was a time with another girlfriend, I've removed all those pics from my computer and Facebook. I know they're backed up somewhere, just haven't found them. I have found one that still remains in my Photobook account, so here it is:

The costume is 100% complete and accurate, down to the supply of shark repellent in the survival vest. I went as Maverick 3 years in a row, slowly building up the costume. The third year saw the addition of the helmet, O2 mask, life preserver, and survival gear for the vest.

I'm working on an original character, the living incarnation of one of NYC's skyscrapers. I've been wanting to do Chrysler building, but I decided to start a bit simpler and went with this:

It's One Penn Plaza, the big skyscraper across from Madison Square Garden. So far I've got all three layers of robes in various stages of construction, and I'm ready to do my first cardboard mock up of the headpiece, just to test it for fit before cutting out the foam pieces.

Hopefully, I will have my Adam West Batman ready for the 31st! Holy time constraint!

I showed my 4 year old the '66 Batman movie with a Super Friends chaser and he loved them, so this Hallowe'en he'll be Batman and I'll be his Robin. A mishmash of versions so we won't be anywhere near accurate, but that's okay, we're also not to scale :)

My Megaman plan isn't coming to fruition, so I have changed gears and am working on a Dr. Horrible to go with my friend's Capt. Hammer - this year's party theme at my place is Heroes and Villains. Wish my fiancee would make a decision, we're down to 3 weeks!

Almost done with Logan from X2, Just waiting on my Jacket but I have screen accurate Pants, Belt, Watchband, Dog Tags, and Claws. I have also lost 20lbs to look more lean which has been the hardest part. My custom Heron X2 Leather jacket should be here this week so I can start breaking that sucker in!

Costume is looking awesome, the guy in the costume is hot too :love :lol

Newish to this site but first post! I've been working on six Doctor Who costumes; three of which are Amy Pond outfits. The others are a weeping angel, Idris, and a Silence. Idris has been kicking my butt though trying to match fabrics and is the least done of them. I will be wearing Amy's kissogram from the eleventh hour for Halloween after switching one or six times once already started.

It's going to be a Dexter year for me. I've got everything for the kill costume except the watch, which I can do without. And since I'm going to more than one party, I've also thrown together his work/daytime outfit (not hard considering it's basically the same thing I wear to work every day, plus his Miami Metro laminate).
