Guavian Death Gang Enforcer

Hi everyone. I've been working since February on a full costume for the Guavian Enforcer. I debuted it at Dallas Comic Con this past weekend, so I thought I'd share my build process and research here, for anyone who might be interested.

What did you use for the suit with the pattern?

I used image references of the 6" Black Series figure to create a vector repeatable tile pattern that I then had custom printed onto fabric through Spoonflower.com.

The suit itself is sewn from a slightly modified Kwik Sew coveralls pattern.

It was modified in the sense that I didn't bother with the pockets or the collar, and I used velcro instead of a zipper. I also had the pattern printed onto moisture wicking fabric, which proved to be a fantastic idea.
