Just saw The Grindhouse.
I liked it a lot.
I am thinking there are a few props that would be cooll to try to figure out.
By the way, keep an eye out for Kurt Russels Big Trouble in Little China tankk top hanging on the wall in the first bar scene with him in it.

Here is a cool pic of one prop

I am fairly certain that the breath mask is a 3m cartridge filter.

And already mentioned elsewhere is the chrome duck hood ornament.

The duck was chrome.
There is another thread running about the duck as well.
Look up convoy hood ornament on ebay.
Would be cool to have, not sure if $125.00 is worthwhile though.

Here are what I think the face mask was based on.

Now to figure out the rest.

Any ideas on the tank ?
Part of it looks like the top part of an m16 or something similar.

Maybe an old gas mask hose as well.

Straps on the gasmask seemed to be black surgical tubing. I was giving that prop a pretty good look too, and was also sure it had to be a 3M respirator after having seen some cool stuff done with them. I think falken108 is right on the money. :) The main body had me thinking scratchbuild or maybe the body of a small vacuum cleaner. Any guesses?

What about Kurt Russel's watch? Anyone get a good look at that? I wouldn't mind owning that just to have as an everyday watch. From what I could see of it and could remember the band was mostly plain and about two inches wide. And pictures or ideas on the watch or maybe other stuff Stuntman Mike was wearing?

I haven't seen Grindhouse yet, but I was thinking about trying to get a run of the needle-gun made. Haven't had time to do any research yet though...

The film was GREAT.....
The amount of props that would or could come outta this one is beyond belief,
paper props like cigarette packs and background posters etc ...cant wait to see what everyone comes up with ...
The black chev in the Robert R feature is the same chev as ROADRACERS(wonder if its his...), he also went with JT (greasy spoon cook ) and even Johnny Reno in there playin sax ....If Ya havent seen ROADRACERS ...SEE IT .

Cool thread- The syringe gun and canister/as mask were on display at San Diego Comic-Con '06- I was a moron and had no idea what they were so did not grab picks- Did anyone get some close-ups? perhaps in their long forgotten SDCC pics?

Unfortunately this was all I got. I think that is part of the gas mask under the syringe case. I had no idea what movie these were for at the time.

Love the film, Any gun expert identify the Sheriff's gun (Michael Biehn) in Planet Terror segment, looks like a Smith and Wesson but can't get any decent shots and no idea of model?
