Jamesfett Prophy cups come in screw on, push down over a nub (there’s your bulge), and other varieties. I’ve basically mentally checked out on this particular instrument and am going to rely on laellee to make a handle.

These look similar to the others I posted, but the widening parts seems less sharp, and more smooth like the prop.

These on a 3D printer brush handle would look pretty good.

The red prophy cup holder I posted on page 5

This prophy cup is pushed over a “nub” on the handle, we would need a three nubbed pink handle, or a handle with a flat that we can screw in three in a row.

Snap on type, it snaps onto a nub.

I think we could use a quick roundup of what has been established, what is still a mystery, and make sure those who want to be are on the same page. There has been a flurry of recent activity, and some information must have gotten lost in the mix. No finger pointing, just looking to introduce a bit more cohesion, so we can cut back on everyone buying up wrong parts.
I’ll read through the thread this evening and share my thoughts.

Agreed. So far I have only wasted about $12 on the wrong floss, so not too bad.

We all may have different levels of certainty on these, but I think we’re in the ballpark together.

I’m still not sure on the Osung dental mirror, the CC in a rectangle is new info for me. I don’t have an Osung and all online pics show the mirror but not the back of it.
There is also this new bit on the dental mirror.

I don't think the toothbrush is the Butler 411. That is the one I have and it's close, but not it exactly.

I think the thumbscrews are in fact little bottle screw caps as all the thumbscrew knobs I can find are flat on top and the prop's are slightly domed?????? Maybe???

Okay there is a butler 411 on Ebay that looks different than my Butler 411. It looks like it has sharper edges, like the prop, and it says it has a pick on the end.

Anyone want to get it and see?

With all the modification done to the toothbrush, I honestly think Butler 411 is still in the mix. Butler has the proper rounded head, number of rows of bristles, and a range of subtle color variations between pale pink and deep red.

I disagree that the thumbscrews are bottle tops, (doesn’t sit right logically to me) but am open to any evidence or a fleshed out theory.

I’ve got two red/pink butler 411s on the way from eBay, sit tight.

Sharper edges how? There is a lot of filing and sanding done to the original prop toothbrush, that may be what you’re seeing. Look close at that closeup I posted of the toothbrush, sloppy filing flats all down the side.

Right/Left are Butler 409, middle is a pink full sized head 411.

Note the tiny letters below the bristles are present. I’m still waiting on a red full head 411 bought in an eBay lot.

The proxabrush came with the two 409s in a lot, so I thought I’d add a pic of how I’m not gonna lose those proxabrush caps. Lol

No, I see that. It's around the head. You can see in the Ebay pics I just posted vs. mine. The head/bristle area is much sharper than mine. Mine has softer more rounded edges. I can hold mine up and compare to this below.

I am saying I think you are right. It's a Butler 411, just not the same one I have. This one I have is likely a newer model.

Look at the red one in your pic, and the red one in my Ebay pick. You can really see how much sharper and flatter the Ebay one is.
