Gremlins Bathroom Buddy

Does anyone know how often these come up as NOS?

I am wondering if I should shell out the money, or wait?
Definitely don't spend that much.

Johnson and Johnson made at least a couple of different products with the correct cutter tops. Dento-tape is another product with the correct top:

I've been gathering multiples of the accessories for a while now, and I've never paid more than $20 with shipping for a floss. $15 is my limit now. At $40 a piece, that's too rich for me with all the other parts and I would look into stamping my own lol...

Try this insteads: In EBay, search under 'Johnson and Johnson vintage floss', and when you find correct ones, put them in your watch list. Most of these sellers think they are just sitting on old toiletries that they would like to turn over, and they will often send you a reduced price offer. This happens A LOT, for me anyways. Two recent examples, I got a 30% off offer on that Dentotape pictured above and got it here for $14, and better yet I picked up a NOS set of FIFTEEN correct razors (and 15 more pivot head) for $30 shipped. I do get better deals/shipping sometimes because I am buying multiples, but stuff like that Dentotape was by its lonesome and I had an offer in maybe 4 hours, $10+$4 s/h :)

Plus one for this, it’s my MO as well, great tip.
Sometimes eBay sellers will use absolutely tiny bait with these offers too, I’ve been offered as low as 6% off.

So on that orange 'pik' piece, has anyone ever gotten any traction on it. It looks incomplete to me, and like it had a pivot head that is now missing, so I have always just intended to print and cast a replica instead. I also have not put much effort into identifying it (outside of reverse image searches), but it appears to have writing (or maybe measuring delineations like the mirrors) on the inside face of the lower section. There is also a hole near the base perpendicular to the nail that holds it in place, and it's large. I don't know if that was to hang it, for a strap, a feed hole for liquid, no idea. But the head also has holes and notching on the inside AND outside at the top.

Butler Proxabrush, I think Jamesfett pretty much confirmed it. I got one on the way via eBay, got lucky to find a job lot with two slightly different red/pink colored butler Gum toothbrushes, and an orange proxabrush.

"Butler Proxabrush"-on outside handle

"Brush in small hole"-on one end

"pic in large hole"-on the other end

Inside on handle by center hole-"John O Butler Co. plus patent number"

Other side of hole-"Chicago Illinois Made in USA on other."

Ends on side with hole- Same in revers. "Pic in Small hole. Brush in large hole."

Here ya go.

I already did as mentioned earlier. I figured it would be $15 to $20 for it open, used, etc. I decided it was worth the extra $20 for NOS sealed.

Now everything I have, except the incorrect nail clippers are NOS.

There is a newer and can be found pretty accurate set of Nail clippers, but it has a darn R on it.

I was poking around google last night, and I have yet to see an Ace rat tail comb, or any other brand, with this handle transition.

All the Ace tail combs I’ve been able to find have an elegant swoop from teeth to handle.

Yep. I have my one that was cheap, so I am gonna practice on that and then pick up one of the more accurate Ace combs and Mod it. I also can not find any comb with these type of short teeth, so it's modding time.

Of course after that we will find the actual comb. (y)

Okay I just went through the Blu-ray. I was hoping to find more shots of the BB, but no luck.

But I am going to have a plaque next to the prop.
