Green lantern getting Horrible reviews!

Space-Voldemort! LOL

By the way is it just me or could the producer Donald De Line have played the part of Hector Hammond and they wouldn't have needed to do much in the way of FX in the dome region?

I thought the special effects were effing incredible, especially the scenes where (SPOILERS)

...

The elder went to the power of the Yellow Fear the first time, and where they created the ring later. Oa was unreal and awesome. The suit turned out better than I expected.

The plot was a mess, the female characters were marginalized, and the pacing was TERRIBLE. Oh, and the soundtrack was weird.

It was slightly better than Blade 3, but not as good as X-Men First Class. I hope Green Lantern 2 is better.

Also, someone posting in this thread has said enough. QFT and let other people post man. We get it, you don't like the movie. Just chill.

Hey, I liked it !!

...... then again, I liked the Cobra Taka Taka :unsure

.......so there you have it, I'm very easily entertained :lol

...... ergo in movie-going, I'm almost never disappointed :thumbsup

Bad taste ? Maybe.

I rather thinks its positivism and just having fun :thumbsup

I liked it, fun movie, and they did a good job refining the history of a character with years and years of baggage. I always thought Thor and GL would be two of the hardest comic movies to make and they both turned out really good.
Was at the theater thinking what a great summer to be a kid. You have X-Men, Thor, Green Lantern, and Cpt. America movies all come out in one long run. Lucky little suckers.:cool

For a Summer afternoon to get out of the heat movie it was ok. Thank goodness I did not wait to see this at an opening midnight showing. I would have been really upset. Story was weak and the acting was terrible. The special effects looked like something that could have been done by a high school computer class. My daughter showed me some of the same effects using her home PC and some movie making software and I was taken back by how easy she could duplicate some of it. Defiantly not on my have to own list when it hits the DVD market.
