Interest Greedo Killer Accurate Grill

Compared to Solo's other blasters, the GK is a beast for size.

Here it is in comparison to a DEC DL-44 (work in progress) and Bobadebt ROTJ DL-44.

I can see why they had to remove the M3 Flash Hider for the thing to fit into Han's holster for filming:

Hello everyone, I think I mixed up a part with someones order when I was packing up stuff to send back to a buddy of mine.
Please Shoot me a PM if you have a part that doesn't belong in the kit.

Organizing stuff sometimes with so many parts to keep track of stuff gets misplaced or mixed up.

Please shoot me a PM thanks

Just got my set today and that scope is huge hahaha.

Awesome, awesome work Solo!!!!!!! I can't tell you how happy I am to be a part of this; I have always wanted a Greedo Killer!! I haven't been able to go through every nut and bolt but will tomorrow.

Thanks Man!!!!!!

Hey guys everyone check their parts and give me a PM if they have a issue. I am looking for a Rogue part that doesn't belong to me and I know for a fact I am gonna have to Remedy a part or two in someone's kit.

Just opened my box of parts ... these are incredible! Thanks again Solo, for all of the work. I set up the mount and it all fits together perfectly ... a thing of beauty. The only thing I'm running into is that I'm getting a good amount of play in both directions (back and forth from barrel to butt, along the relief, and side to side from left side of gun to right) when I mount the weaver rings onto the dovetail. My first conclusion was that it's probably just due to small inconsistencies in the weaver rings. I'm also wondering if having a bit of paint on the dovetail will snug things up enough. If not, do you have any recommendations to tighten the fit? I was thinking I could either sand down the weaver ring a bit so that I could tighten the wheel down further, or using a dab of epoxy maybe?

YES I accounted for the PAINT thickness or they would be a huge nightmare to put together later. I did think of that. Try it and you will see.

I stayed within a couple thousandths for clearance. Some fit and finish is required on the parts, like the grills, and some screws being a hair longer than others, etc. I talked about it in the breakdown video, rubbing them on emory clothe or using a file/dremel.

I did send out 3 lengths of mounting fasteners to mount the bracket to the mauser/replica thinking the best I could about the 3 versions people would be using to build their greedos, and I made sure everything was the best I could make it given so many operations in making all the parts,
and included the Glass Safe glue as well.

I tried to think of every scenario.

ANOTHER THING, THE WEAVER RINGS WERE NEVER PART OF THE RUN, THEY CAN BE SOURCED ON EBAY FOR ABOUT $10 shipped or on GUNAUCTION for about the same.

This was clear when the GRILL Turned into the hole kit, that the weavers would be a giant nightmare to make a tiny production of and could be sourced for cheaper than it would be for me to make them.

I just made the note on the bottom of the OP, about the WEAVERS, this was discussed back when I was asked to turn the GRILL Project into the Full kit project.

It was cheaper to source weavers because they are really common, than it was to make them. Thanks

Thanks for the quick response, and pardon my ignorance. I guess I should have just assumed it was for the paint. Fully understand about the Weaver rings, they are a dime a dozen on Ebay.

the one thing I should mention is that its best to assemble the brackets minus the small ring spacer and then paint that bracket assembly.

Waiting for mine to clear customs, will do a parts check then :) (next week)
