Interest Greedo Killer Accurate Grill

The version is I believe the Weaver T-33 for the .22 caliber style in the photos posted, I had some and sent them to Scottjua, I got lucky and stumbled onto them in a Antique shop.

I would agree that it seems that the rings used in the movie and the ones used in the promo shots are not only mounted in different positions but are different rings. Not sure what was used in the movie shot but I think these are the rings used in the promo shot... mainly because they came mounted to a vintage Compac scope I purchased. See photos below:

Aren't those the same rings used for the A New Hope DH-17?

BTW: I would like to speculate further in regards to the rings. If they were indeed switched out from pictures to filming (assuming that was the correct order), I want to propose why it might have happened.

I once proposed that the forward ring of the football style looks larger. Although I have had some agree with me the knobs are not the same size, most say that the rings themselves are the same and it simply that the forward ring is slightly turned toward the camera. I propose that during the prop build for this weapon, two scope rings were pulled out of a bin or something. The builder assumed they were matching but instead one was a higher profile. As a result, both rings could not be attached to the rail. The builder opted to just add the second scope ring onto the end of the scope.

Once it was time to film the close-up. We know that the muzzle was probably removed to fit in in the holster, but the forward scope ring would keep it from fitting as well. They would either need to remove the one ring and only have one on the scope, or switch them out with rings that would both fit on the rail. They opted for the latter since two rings of sorts were used on the hero prop.

Getting close to time to chop the barrel off of my Denix for the FH ... does anybody have a measurement that they can give me on how much to take off, or is everybody just eyeballing this? Thanks!

I'd be in for part of a set. I have the real flash hider, but a resin scope (still looking for a real one). I'm in particular need of scope mountings.

Anyone is also welcome to call me if they like, my number is on my card in my signature.

I sent you a PM.

Thanks. Solo
