I am gathering all the stuff the best I can for R/D I am talking to Scottjua everyday, if anyone has a Compac 2x they want to sell or loan for reverse engineering I would be grateful..
 
Still in, pending on price. Mostly interested in the scope and grill at the moment, due to lack of huge funds.
 
In for the grill for sure, in for the rest pending price. I'm some with all the funds for my hero anh and rotj.. And I'll have an extra accurized denix.. Soo.. Looks like I'm probably gonna jump down this bunny hole too! :)
 
Hello RPF, I am looking to Purchase the Compac super 2 1/2x scope.. I have talked to some of you about this. The best way to reverse engineer the scope is to have it so it can be done correctly. Any help would be appreciated, I have talked to every rare gun broker in the country probably, and sent out inquires to just about everyone but a few guys here on the RPF. I understand those of you who own one would be hesitant to even loan yours out, I would be willing to Pay a Security Deposit in that event. Let Scottjua or I know so we can push this project forward..

I am interested. If I had a scope I would gladly loan it to you, Bro. It can be very difficult to make tooling just from pics. It is a lot better to have an existing part to go by.
 
I have a Flash hider En Route, and just sent out other inquiries about the scope. Anyone out there with that scope please PM me, I would really appreciate it. thanks
 
OK, got the vintage flash hider in.. I am waiting to hear back on the scope, apparently we found some, but no one wants to loan with a security deposit, and no one wants to sell.

Don't quote me on that, Scottjua is in talks with the scope guys.
