Graflex unknwon part?

I have an extra part on my graflex that i have not seen here.... or if it has been seen no one talks about it. Anyone know anything about this? I think its pretty cool actually. I don't think its a broken off bulb, but then again i could be wrong... and i can't type to save my life... sorry about weird thread title...

to me it looks like a bulb adapter...

It's a bulb adapter/socket. Lots of flashes come with them, they come in all shapes, lengths and sizes. Hang onto it for an emitter on a custom saber

in fact, every flash I've ever bought came with one or two, graflex, kobold, heiland, Life flasher, service, Leitz, etc.
