Re: Graflex Conversion Blade Plugs
This is an interest thread as of now, and will be updated later to a limited or unlimited run depending on the circumstances.
With the release of the new Parks/Korbanth Graflex 2.0 and Roman's Empire's Graflex production going on, and with the TFA being released last month, we all know that Graflex's (either original or replica) have sky rocketed in popularity and demand. Here, we're offering a super simple blade plug design that mimics a Graflex Flash Bulb Connector. Please click on the pictures for Hi Res!

Here we have the flash bulb connector

Here is what we have. All parts are made using the original dimensions of the flash bulb connetor.
It is made of Polycarbonate tubing and hand machined aluminum and brass parts, which have then been plated with copper, weathered, polished and then weathered some more.

Original Vintage Graflex with original flash bulb connector on the left VS. our blade plug design.
We're going to be offering them in various lengths and finishes:
1 Inch Outer Diamter
7/8's Inch OD
1.5 Inches Length
2.25 Inches Length
Aluminum Polished
Aluminum Weathered
Brass/Copper Polished
Brass/Copper Weathered
Our goal is to hit 50 blade plugs, priced at $15 USD, with a $7 USD flat rate S+H for domestic, and $23 International S+H. If you buy 2, the 3rd one will be 50% off! and no extra charge for S+H!
Now, if we don't hit 50, we will still take INDIVIDUAL ORDERS, but the price will raise to $20 per, with the same shipping and handling charges.
I will be added further details later!
EDIT: A new option is available for those who just want static prop versions, we will be offering black tubing alongside our regular clear ones! No extra charge.

For those that said they wanted one and possibly two, I marked your spot in as a possible, just in case you want it, but at your request I can remove you at any time. Thanks guys!
***For those that said possible for the second-- Due to the surprising demand of these, I'm going to need a confirmation on if you do or do not want the second one. If not, that space will be open for the next available person on the list.
Again, thanks everyone who showed interest in these! Neither of us thought that these would be so popular. Now, this run is full, and we have some extra spots that we're trying to fill in, but please understand that we are not a company, just two guys who were making our own thing and trying to offer our services to those who showed interest. We pay for all of our own material and put our free time into these, so I'm sorry if we can't fit everyone that we would like to. Being fully employed on my end and my friend being a full time student, we don't tend to have a lot of free time to pull off big projects. We may or may not open this run up again in the coming months for those that do not get on the first one. So, again (again), thanks for those that have shown their commitment on this and we will hopefully be getting these off the ground soon!
Here's a finished product! This is the personal one for myself, which is the brass weathered with clear polycarbonate tubing!
