I am getting shipments ready as these are complete rather than waiting till everything is done. Four sets are ready and will ship out tomorrow when the PO opens.

So I received a nozzle set from Daniel last night, and I set to work getting it painted and installed.

These turned out exactly as I hoped they would. The casting came out really great, and after a paint and rub n buff paint job, these look so fantastic. It changes the profile of the blaster and really makes it stand out. If you're still on the fence about picking up a set for your blasters, here's all you need to see!

IronManiac, those look outstanding! Can't wait to get mine now! If you don't mind me asking, how did you get the bluing effect on the tips of the top barrels? Airbrush?

The bluing was done with a can of metallic blue Testors spray paint. It has a smaller spray pattern than your average spray paint can. I did just what you'd imagine: rather than spraying directly at the nozzle, i aimed the can about 4 inches to the side of the nozzle, so it only got on the front edge of the barrel. I did this in numerous passes, very lightly adding a bit of paint each time until i got it to the amount of blue i wanted.
