So we've been working on this thing for awhile now and I think have finally nailed it down.

And so I submit for your consideration a fully metal Star Lord belt buckle:

We cast in small batches, one at a time.

We've taken all the work out of this for you.

These are NOT resin, or cold cast. This is full on heavy metal baby!

These will be finished belt buckles, all the hard work has already been done for you, they've been ground, polished, dry brushed and sealed unless you request otherwise.

These are made from a clay buckle skillfully crafted by IronManiac and molded by me, then cast in R92 pewter for extra strength, they come with Tandy Leather belt buckle backs and are very sturdy. The only thing you have to source is the leather belt of your choice.

These are VERY labor intensive, they aren't being banged out at a factory. They are hand made, hand finished, it's a lot of work but I enjoy it for some strange reason that even I don't understand. :D

We're going to limit the quantity to however many we can cast before the mold breaks.

But wait, there's more!

Some have asked about resin and cold-cast versions so we have made those available as well.

Re: Daniel/IronManiac's METAL Star Lord belt buckles

Looks great!

What are the dimensions of the buckle itself?

Re: Daniel/IronManiac's METAL Star Lord belt buckles

Great work. I am actually interested in the process you used to make them. I am new to casting and molding and am trying to learn all the methods I can. ( I love to learn how to do things myself) Once again awesome work and even though I am interested I have one I have been working on from my 3D printer, but if my funds situation turns around I would love to have one of yours.

You aren't too far away from me, you could stop by some time and see for yourself how I do it. I'm still new at casting in metal as well, it's pretty neat for sure.

I just noticed that you are only a couple of hours away. I may take you up on the offer. I have a small machine shop and I normally make lightsabers, but I am trying to branch out into different props too.

Thanks for all the orders guys! I've got the metal on order and it should be here early next week. Once they are cast and ship I'll pm each of you with the tracking information.

Re: Daniel/IronManiac's METAL Star Lord belt buckles

I took a new picture tonight that gives a little more detail.
This is my own personal buckle, I weathered it a little more than I usually do.
