Got my Blaster Back

5 Years ago the ********* at B of A Honored 2 checks that were 3 years old, Crippling my finances. I had to sell a lot of my prop collection to pay the rent. One of the ones I had to part with-painfully, was my all metal Han Solo ESB Blaster. Today, I got it back-not the original one, but from the same source (Blast-tech). It took me 2 hours to assemble it. I like to give mine a "Weathered" look, like they've been well used.

Funny story. Several years ago I sold a very innacurate Maul saber to someone I hardly knew. Now at the time, it was still a nice all metal Maul saber (that came apart in the middle) but this person didn't care if it was innacurate (impulse buy) and paid top dollar for it (I want to say about 400.00, I paid about the same 6 months earlier). Fast forward 5 years. I found the SAME saber at a local 2nd hand collectible store for 30.00. It was just nice to get it back. :)

Looks cool. Are you going to add real wood grips? What about the two oval shaped details where the Denix logo is? That hard dremel polishing wheel will take that right off with ease. I know I always prefer to use a file to remove that knub underneath the hammer. It makes it look a lot better and sound louder ******, when you pull the trigger. You've got to make sure it's seated well. A dremel might make it spin right out. Though it goes right back in.

Well this is MY blaster not Hans, so any differences makes it unique unto me. I may look into the wood grips though, I know putting thme on takes a bit of Dremel work. Thanks for the tip about the Logo and Nub, busting out the D. :)

Lovely! :D I really am hooked on nearly any variation of the SW Mauser! I still want a BD Merr-Sonn again (this time maybe fate won't throw me a nastygram and I have to sell it...speaking of BoA, they SUCK!).
