good OTC chrome paint?

I was out shopping last night for some project supplies, and realized that I needed to pick up some metallic/chrome looking paint.

Is Krylon Metal Chrome or something like that worth half a damn?

I don't need much of it, but I do need something that will work pretty nicely, not smudge like crazy, and not peel off and ruin 5 hours of painting.

I don't need it for much, so I don't want to plop down 15$ and mail order some super special paint (ala alcad) to get it done, I just need a quick/dirty paintjob finished up.

This project has moved from "whee!!! I am making something!!!" to "holy ****** just let it END!!!" , so I really just want something I can grab at the store.

I have tried them all, and by far the best (at least in my opinion) is a black label, craft version of Plasti-Kote Metallics in chrome.
It look great out of the bottle, and hardens very well. Way better then any other brand in looking shiny, and being cheap (can get myself to buy the real expensive ones) I think I got mine at Micheal's, because I have not seen it at Walmart. Plasti-Kote makes another chrome as well I do not like as much.
