Yeah, let's make one. Or two so we can both keep one. :thumbsup

Great looking Gonks, guys.

This may have been covered before, but is there a particular model of tote that y'all are using as "definitive"? If not, is there some specific size most of you are using? A $25 - 50 prop build is almost in my budget. ;)

Thanks,

ATM

I cant recall the exact size of the totes I used, actually I had the isle full looking for the best size.I just went with the totes I felt were a good proportion. They were the tinted clear kind....but if you use those, sand them really good, cause paint or glue does not want to stick very well to those types of totes. Also they came from Wal-Mart,if that helps any.

The feet on my Gonk are Swiffer refill boxes over the top of wood blocks. :)

Nice paint job on that Gonk. What are the feet and/or how did you do them? :)

The feet I made from blocks of styrofoam that I then coated with a hard coating to cover the foam texture and give them a more "metal" look :)

The hardcoat I was refering to is sculpt or coat :) I just coat the foam, lay cotton batten over it and then coat the batten with sculpt or coat. I tried to make it as smooth as possible but it was not that big of a deal since his feet need to be beaten up anyway :)

I took a bunch of screencaps from ANH and Deleted Magic while researching.

This one shows how big Gonk is compared to an approximately 6ft adult. The others show some cool feet details. Lots more at the link.
