Well here it is. Kids love the Go-Onger guys. I havent seen the show, but there all the same theme, I get it.

I would like to build the costume though. Kids love it, and well, for the events I do its more popular here in Japan than the current costumes I have.

Any helmet kits out there? If need be Ill try my hand at sculpting...

Ideas?

Well, it is the current Sentai series, I'd hope it was popular or else Toei woud have a problem, wouldn't they? I can't imagine Kamen Rider or Tomica Rescue Force being the reigning toku show.

Yahoo!Japan Auctions took off much better than its American counterpart, it's a constant source of tokusatsu gear for fans abroad, I'd say that was your best bet at the moment. There will most likely be a helmet kit for at least the red member.

Also, with few exceptions most teams have had their gloves based off of the same pattern, and with the exception of I believe only GekiRanger, every Super Sentai team uses the exact same boot, albeit with different cuffs and color schemes. I'd be surprised if you couldn't track down gloves and boots on Y!J Auctions.

Personally, I was disappointed in Go-Onger. MagiRanger was a much better veiled Harry Potter knockoff than Go-Onger is seemingly inspired by Cars. Yes, the Pixar movie. I can't tell if it's parody or not, like CarRanger was. GoRed's helmet is almost a direct lift from Jetman, talking car mecha, I mean c'mon! I haven't gotten any requests for subsequent episodes on DVD from my little brothers.

And you won't be able to use YahooJapan on your own. You need to use a place like Rinkya to buy stuff, as YJ normally won't sell outside Japan.
