Glue flaps

I'm not really sure where to put it, so it goes right here!

I'm trying to make the Sharkmark Iron Man MK IV/VI helmet, but I have some trouble with some of the glue flaps, especially the ones on the faceplate.

You have to cut halfway trough it, so that when you glue it together, it bends a little. So far so good with the bigger ones, but the tiny ones give me some trouble, because there are hardly any flaps to glue!

The one I'm talking about is from Sharkmark's helmet, page 8. It's the upperjaw piece, glue flap nr. 9 and 36 (I hope you guys understand)

Any help with this would be appreciated :)

- just cut them off and and cut a piece of cardstock to cover the join and glue the edges together like that

I thought of that myself to, thanks for confirming it!

Also, how does one fold the reeeally, tiny strokes of paper, wich connects nearly every big plate part in the helmet? talking about page 11, 12 and 14 at the sharkmark helmet

Yeah, sorry for reviving such an old topic, but I'm having trouble with this to! I see pictures of people who have fold it reeeaaly tight! How do they do this?

For small tight folds I score the fold line with a dull exacto blade and then use tweezers to grip the small surface. Often I'll cut the glue tabs larger than their outline provided there is enough room on the page. Tabs can always be cut down later.
