zachsbanks547 - Thanks for the link! Not sure why I can reply to your thread ==> RPF Costume and Prop Maker Community (maybe the missing title?), so I started a new one.

It doesn't look too hard to make the cover dust jacket, except the missing info on the flaps (if any). Here's a full recreation of the visible cover with correct fonts; the portrait was cleaned up and enhanced in Topaz Photo AI:


I don't know the measurements of the book, so this is made as 210 x 434 mm, but you can upscale or downscale to your needs. The 1st page is 200 x 134 mm.

I took some screenshots and by guesstimation I updated the dimensions of the cover. Also added another version of the cover with different color hue, but also the 1st page inspired by The Split Saber book from post #4.

That is super weird. That is not what my post looked like when I made it. It had a title and more text in the body.

It seems there is/was a problem with the server? I noticed in some threads that posts from yesterday and today were empty. So clearly some kind of bug.

Did The Split Saber book's cover dust jacket, using screencaps from all the scenes with reference to the book:




Used the big poster from the congress hall to recreate the combined faces and the saber, the printed 1st page to add the title and the author to the front cover and the spine, while on the back cover I used the screencap with the portrait made as grayscale in lack of other source (but not before I enhanced it in Topaz Photo AI), and while the text seems to be the same with the back of The Cause book (or at least have the same arrangement mirrored), I added all the text (except one line from the other book on the 1st segment) from the screenplay (which is slightly different from the movie) and some from the movie transcript with a bit of variation from me.
The difference between the versions is that v1 has two colored elements combined with transparency and shading on the orange face, while v2 has 3 colored segments with shade on the orange face. I like v2 better, but you'll use the one you want/like. Made the same size like The Cause book cover, more exactly 210 x 434 mm, while the 1st page is 200 x 134 mm.
