Hey guys, as my projects begin to wind down and finish I'd like to start a new one and I haven't done any creatures yet so I firgured why not.
Anyways, me and my brother would like to get started on a Gizmo from the 1st not the 2nd he really prefers the 1st movies version better. So any tips, pics, measurements would be of great help, and I'll be sure to post pics so no worries there. :)
-Thanks for any help.

You seek Ronculus.

He is the Master of anything Gremlins...scratch that he is the Master period.

I totally agree that Gizmo looks the best from the original. I've always wanted to do one, but have never gotten around to it. I look forward to seeing yours. Keep us posted and best of luck.

You might want to try and track down pics of the commercially available model kit that was released in Japan some time ago. I've seen members here with that kit and the results seemed really nice.

Long time no update.

I started modeling my own about 3 days ago, its comming along pretty nicely I'm just about finishing up the face. I'll try to take some pics of it within the next couple of days.

Hey,

Did you ever take any pics? I'm curious to see where you're at with this guy.

Hey, this is the best pic I have of it at the moment.

I made it in about a week, I would have liked to have cast the pieces like the mouth, ears, etc in latex for a more realistic feel but the time constraints didnt allow so I had to deal. It needs some more of the fine details like the veins in the ears, and I couldn't get a brown fur closer than the one I had to use, I would like to change the brown fur witha more accurate material but for now it is alright. Perhaps when I get more time I can go back and resculpt a more accurate version.
