Did anyone catch this movie yet? I saw it last night (when everyone else was watching Iron Man 2 :lol).

It's a great movie if you like old fashion mysteries / PI detective stories. It also helps that all the characters are likable. I liked it enough that I ordered the second book from Amazon as soon as I got home. I'm also excited that the second book was already filmed and released overseas and is coming to N. America in the Summer.

I am disappointed that it's being Americanized. The good news is that it's a David Fincher film. But really, two years later? First let the Right One in and now this?

Saw it after I read the book; as usual too many random changes that got you nothing, but on its own the film is enjoyable. The characters are solid, the pace is a bit wonk, but trying to cram any great span of time into a 2 hr movie will do that. Worth seeing, before the sure to be dumbed down 'mericanization comes along.

I was going to read the book, but I only heard about the film a few weeks back and there was no way I was going to finish the book by then (the last time I read a book that fast, I was working overnight as a security guard :lol)

But I am excited about the second book. The story sounds interesting, but I read on IMDB that some people were disappointed about the pacing in that film/book.
