Also, just in case, here's decent reference for the color of the leg hose connector. I know it's something fans don't always agree on. Some people believe the GB1 connector was tan, but I think they're basing that on modern pictures of rubber that's endured decades of discoloring and rotting. As far as I can tell, all the connectors were a pretty light gray back in 1984.

Those are actually pockets as can be seen here on Zed R's screen used Stantz suit.

Looking back on the last page, I don't see those lines on the photo of Venkman's suit. Could those have been the result of an alteration done to Stantz's suit or something like that?

Actually, looking up close at a GB2 suit, those look like they might just be a stitched line across the front, and not actually a seam. It doesn't seem to affect the herringbone pattern repetition...

This explains why it doesn’t read in farther away shots... it’s a flat detail that doesn’t create any extra dimensionality in the suit, since there are no folds underneath like a seam would create.

Agreed its not so much a seam joining two parts. It's just a stitched line as you said.
As it's one piece of fabric with zero separation or interruption of the ripstop pattern.

I've been watching this thread for a while, since everyone was debating the patch, and I must say, I am continually impressed by Indy Magnoli's willingness to make alterations amd updates based on people's observations. I plan on ordering a suit, because right now, all I have is the regular GB fans one and I really want a screen accurate suit. I'm so excited to get one of these.

Yeah, I've been wanting to own a screen accurate ripstop suit forever. Even if you managed to talk Gibson & Barnes into making you a ripstop suit (and I've tried), their patterns don't accurately match the nuances of the original suits anymore. This thing will be beautiful.

Just checked our suit again... we DO have that stitch. It's actually the edge of the interior zipper facing that runs all the way down to the crotch:

The exact position in relation to everything else will vary depending on the size of the jumpsuit.

I believe the stitch they are talking about is this one. It looks almost like they just did a blind stitch from the shoulder panel to the pocket so they wouldn't have to stop and reset the machine.

As someone who was vocal against the accuracy of this work. I am now enjoying the Humble Pie I've been served. The alteration of that stitch line and the amendment to amend the cuffs, zippers and velcro patch is incredible....I had never even noticed that seam/stitch line nor did I know about the side entry pockets actually being pockets. I can't wait to these are out there and once people have them I can hopefully work out the fit better and get one of these.
