Limited Run Ghostbusters Jumpsuit (7 versions!) by Magnoli Clothiers

I think the majority here would prefer a screen accurate patch even if it's not the prettiest!

I think Redspecial hit the nail on the head, there are good sources of stylised patches out there for the everyday user. For us more "anal" collectors we struggle to find a patch that's as ugly as the originals!

Well, that's the rub, for the "anal" collector- all four patches are different. The Venkman, Stantz, Zeddemore, and Spengler No Ghost patches all varied. So if you would like to talk the general consumer vs the GB elite, this should be marketed at the Stantz flightsuit. Because the patch is modeled from Stantz, and not the other three. That way my point. And sure, you can go to eBay and spend $8 to get a generic embroidered patch, but you can't find that idealized logo made using the materials and techniques that the screen used patches were made with. But as usual, the RPF has to be the RPF.

Regardless, I'm excited to see what Magnoli has to offer here, because all of his work that I've seen has been amazing. And I'm sure this won't be any different.

I'm not a pre-order customer, so my vote should probably count less than that of others here. I do intend to pick one up eventually though, and for what it's worth:

I'm with Bingo - there ISN'T an "ideal" GB1 patch available anywhere with the accurate approach to materials and embroidery. Like the film's props, the patch imperfections vary from iteration to iteration. I don't much care for the look of Stantz' patch, myself. My half-vote would be to aim for the right look, as the original fabricators attempted on each one, and let any imperfection fall where it may (or not, if 2020 technology allows)!

Great work as always, Indy. Wherever you land on the patches, I'm down.

Almost there!

Looking good!
The first thought though (and I apologise if it will be part of the end product and not on this prototype), but will the zippers be the accurate brass colour?

Didn’t think of that! Thank you. The lighting does show those zips as quite dark - my mind assumed they were black like the standard flight suits.

Was about to say about the zippers...Thought they looked potentially brass but picture wasn't clear....It looks pretty good....what is the weight of the suit if yoiu don't mind me asking?

The fabric weight - Some of the cheaper markets out there produce a flightsuit with very thin fabric and it feels/looks cheap. For me, the weight of the fabric can be just as important as the colour material.

Query withstanding, I'm very excited to have one of these suits once there's clarity re the sizing and eagerly anticipating the updates with the Herringbone which for many years has been my holy grail!

Also came here to ask about the zippers. Pleased to read the photo is wonky, and they are going to be bright brass. That's such a important detail! Happy.

We're getting our Mando Suits ready first, but I should be approving the final GB v1 jumpsuit soon. Once that's good, we'll start production asap. The v2 and v3 will follow shortly thereafter. Hopefully we can get the pre-orders shipped out to arrive before Halloween.
I didn't see the option for custom fit. What's the price difference for a standard fit vs custom?

Custom fit is done via e-mail. Contact customer service to discuss this option. At the moment, there is no extra charge for this service.
