First of all, regarding sizing: There is a sizing chart on our site. If you choose a standard size, your suit will be made to the measurements listed in that chart. It does not take into account what you wear underneath, what gymnastics you intend to do in it, how much beer you had on the weekend, etc. What is listed in the chart, is what you'll receive. Period. So, check ALL the measurements. Compare to an existing garment with the fit you want. If you want it to fit loosely over something else, make sure the measurements you choose reflect this. We're using a similar chart to what G&B uses, but we can't guarantee that our 44R, for example, will fit exactly like their 44R... that's why we're providing the measurement chart. So please check and do NOT order just based on the size without checking the measurements.
As for the GB1 patch... the original artwork was certainly a perfect circle, but embroidery methods in the 80s allowed for imperfections in the way one color overlapped with another. That's why you see the wonky circle in those parts of the logo where the red is touching the black outline of the ghost. You can see the machines also had trouble keeping a consistent thickness to the black lines. To get the same look, we made a wonky graphic because using today's equipment, a perfectly rendered circle will give you perfectly embroidered circle and perfectly formed black lines will be embroidered the same way. I really think the wonky graphic is the way to go with these. Once they are sewed onto the suits and worn, with the natural bending of the arm, it'll look great. Being display flat, as in a frame for example, might look a bit weird, but we're not selling these loose, so no worries there.
Hope that clarifies/answers all the questions and comments in the above posts...
Kind regards,
Magnoli
