Decided to have a go at making a no paint version of the Belt Gizmo, it doesn't do anything (just like the film version
) but if you have the filaments required, you can print it and use it as part of your cosplay outfit.
I've made it so the "Nixie tubes" can be customised within the possibilities you have of the 7 segment display, by simply changing the colour of those segments to red or black. Full instructions on the MakerWorld link.
The wire holder chip on the front will allow a wire to be glued in the front of it, I'll design a daughterboard to match this soon (I'll link it in the MakerWorld profile), to connect the other end.

Going to have a try at re-doing the tubes in PETG transparent, as they should in theory be clearer, just got to dry it out first! - The Transparent PLA is enough of a pain, so going to make sure I fully try out before trying that.
Sanyo stickers would finish this off nicely,I did toy with the idea of including them in the print, but due to the size, it would need a .02 hot end to make them come out nicely (which I might also test).
Hope it helps someone!

Ghostbusters “Belt Gizmo” cosplay accessoryNo one is quite sure what it does (in Ghostbusters at least, the original was actually the circuitboard from a Sanyo calculator!), but you need it as part of your cosplay setup. I've made this so you can adjust the readout in the “nixie tubes” by...
