Who would have thought an image of spores, mold and fungus would make a grown man tear up. Damn, that's a kick in the feels right there.
Liking what I see so far. It's apparent they know who they are making this for. My only slight worry is that I hope they're not going for a straight-out "kids save the world"-thing, with them driving the Ecto and using the equipment.
They better darn well heed Egon's words... "A Proton Pack is not a toy..."

Same. Haven’t been this excited for a film in a long while.
I can see the concern about it being a whole genius kid film, but I can also see how it could work. I mean, Ray was basically a big kid, Venkman was far from an 'adult', & Egon was socially awkward. Winston seemed to be the most responsible of them all, just wanting to make a paycheck.
That same spirit, acted & directed well, could really recapture the magic of the first film.

This does NOT seem like a rehash sequel at all! I am loving this trailer! Didn't have a ton of laughs in it, seemed more like a Spielberg flick!

I liked the 2016 film for what it was, but this trades on my nostalgia for the old films and what the hell why are my eyes leaking during a Ghostbusters teaser?

Im glad this seems to also not ignore Ghostbusters 2, if no one has seen a ghost in 30 years, that puts it at 89 the last time.
But i guess the Ecto-1 and 1A where totally different vehicles and not just upgraded from the one? Since this one doesnt have any of the GB2 addons.
