Just wanted to show off my first replica prop I actually made for myself.
This is my replica of the General Lee's license plate from season 4 of The Dukes of Hazzard.
I collect original and replica TV/Movie Prop license plates, but I am really picky about accuracy.
I was not satisfied with the quality of the replicas I found on ebay and elsewhere, so I decided
to make my own. I took some screen caps and redrew all the graphics in Illustrator. The uneven
"Hazzard County" lettering is intentional to match the originals. The "CNH 320" and the "76" were
redrawn in Illustrator from scans of identical characters from actual production made 1980s TV/movie
prop license plates from my collection.
