Game of Thrones

His scars kinda prevent him from ever being anything other than The Hound - he's recognized almost everywhere he goes.
I do hope he survived. He really grew on me in season 4.

Everyone doesn't know it's him due to scares on his face. Most people who ever saw him is when he was with the king or atleast in armor. So it's mostly the higher crust / royal & soilders. People get burned everyday. Plus depends where he moves to.

Free to hook up with Dany and Tyrion, and then completely obliterate everything in their paths.

Think about it, the three of them are the best group possible.

You have Dany, who has the charisma, Tyrion, who has the political savvy, and Jon Snow, who has the leadership qualities.

They would easily roll over Westeros and unite them against the White Walkers, especially if they get Braavos and Dorne on their side.

The Dragon has three heads.

The Tyrion is a Targ theory seems more far-fetched to me than R+L=J, and would probably be a damn hard thing to prove at this point if it's true. Howland Reed potentially could prove R+L=J; who could possibly prove Aerys+Joanna=Tyrion?

Well if Tyrion can command one of the dragons, that would be proof...

There's a bit more evidence for Tyrion beinga Targarion in the books.

He's described as having light colored hair, but it's more like Dany's than Jamie's. He's also had dreams of dragons. Then finally, the show kinda touched on the fact that the king may take any woman he wants to. The Mad King didn't like Tywin, so it's hinted that he slept with Tywin's wife, resulting in Tyrion. Tywin constantly saying that Tyrion was no son of his, could in this light, be taken both ways.

This is just for giggles, but a friend & I were discussing the ending of the series today, & I just wanted to ask if anyone else felt the same way. I think the whole end of this thing, will be a completely unified world, including north of the wall. I, personally believe that it will be accomplished with the dragons melting the wall away during the climax of the series.

his last question was who could ever best a zombie-fied Mountain?

My answer, & hope-

Bran, warged into Hodor.;):thumbsup

Nah... Stompey The Giant (you may know him as Wun Wun) could do it.

answer: the sand snakes vs zombie mountain. round 2! Last time both fighters died on the field of battle. The mountain getting the win by knockout before kicking the bucket. Be there when the zombie man who likely feels no pain vs. the lovely daughters of The Red viper! It's gonna be a 3 on 1 fight to the death or at least more zombie parts. This time it's super personal!!!!

Sponsered by little finger's high end escorts and party centers.

So either Jon's going to come back/isn't dead to fulfill a much needed role in the story or this whole thing is going to end much worse for the people of Westros than we though.

This is an interesting angle. They made no move to burn his body, so he should become a wight at the very least. Could he come back as part of the white walkers and lead the army of the dead to right the wrongs the realm has suffered?

COuld he become a white walker perhaps?

Well, there's always the Coldhands theory...

Also:

Taylor Swift sums up GoT quite nicely:

Based on interviews and other evidence, Kit has not been picked up for season 6 yet and the producers seem to be saying "dead is dead'.

However, they could easily be saying he is dead but simply omitting the part about being able to come back to life in some form, but maybe not as we know him played by that actor. He could hang around in ghost and Bran could communicate with him.

Maybe they are desperately trying to keep his fate under wraps to the point of waiting until the last minute and letting Kit believe he is truly done

It is also possible we may not know his fate until season 7 or even a cliffhanger of season 6, so technically, not being called for season 6 is accurate.

it is possible Jon Snow is dead, but is reborn as Azhor Ahai. So yes, Jon snow is "dead". phrases like "kill the boy", "Jon always comes back" etc... could allude to that

On the flip side, just because the series is named a Song of Fire and Ice, does not mean that both are good things. Fire could refer to the dragons, Ice could refer to the Others. We've just assumed it was a reference to Jon

Jon Snow may not be needed for the ending. he could have just been another Dick Crabb all along

Sure, it seems like a lot of wasted potential and set up, but it wouldn't be the first time we were lead down a dead end path by Martin's story.

Who knows, maybe this is really Bran's story in the end instead of Jon's

All of those reactions are quite funny, esp. as a book reader; as such I knew what to expect so they weren't big shockers to me. I'm sure that I'll have those moments next season when we start delving into territory not yet covered by the books.
