Game of Thrones Jaime Lannister Kingsguard Armor

I'm working on Jaime's Kingsguard outfit now, this is what it looks like for those who haven't seen the show:

and this is the sword he carries:

I'm gonna start from the sword and work my way to his armor. I hope to get everything done by March 31, when Season 3 premieres. Anyone else working on something related to Game of Thrones? I doubt I'm the only fan of the TV series and the books here!

There is absolutely not enough Game of Thrones cosplay. I'd rather see a few more Neds and Jaimes than a hundred more Iron Men! That's a hell of a time crunch, though. Good luck!

Yeah I have, he did great on the detailing but the armor's all black instead of golden. I'll be doing a better job!

I made a mannequin of sorts of my waist from a drum, some foam, a towel and a belt

After this is done I'll start working on the longsword's scabbard. Next update in 4 hours or so.

Making the scabbard is turning out to be a major pain in the neck:

why couldn't they just give Jaime a plain brown scabbard? Darn Lannisters and their need to show off their wealth and status.

I do, except I have black hair. I doubt anyone would mind it too much :lol
